Chicks dig Gershwin.
ummm, yeah.
George & Ira Gershwin were a pretty incredible creative team.  One of the very last things George wrote was the melody line to a song that Ira then finished after his brother passed away.  I always thought Our Love is Here to Stay was a typical love song of that era, but it’s actually not about romance at all.  Ira wrote the lyrics for George.
“The Rockies may crumble, Gibraltar may tumble, They’re only made of clay, but Our Love is Here to Stay”
Brotherly love.  Now that’s something all chicks dig, even the ones who don’t like musical theater.
